Cirrus Perception Specs, Sensor, Cockpit, and Price – Cirrus Perception is a special mission piston-engined aircraft developed by Cirrus Design Corporation (CDC), United States. The development of the aircraft is based on the Cirrus SR22/ SR22T aircraft. This aircraft can be used in command and control, law enforcement, military pilot training, search and rescue (SAR), VIP / captive transportation, border surveillance, mapping and photography, aerial surveys, disaster management and support missions. Cirrus Perception was introduced to the public and obtained certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in July 2014.
The Cirrus Perception landing system is equipped with a non-retractable three-wheel landing gear, including a nose castering wheel and two controllable main wheels. The dimensions of the aircraft include a length of 7.92 m, height 2.7 m and a wing span of 11.68 m. The aircraft based on the SR22 fuselage has an empty weight of 1,028kg and can carry a useful maximum load of 605 kg.
Cirrus Perception aircraft also feature the GFC700 digital autopilot which offers a direct flying experience. It is also equipped with a dual attitude and heading reference system (AHRS) system, and an electronic stability and protection (ESP) system.
The open architecture of the sensor mounting system allows for the integration of sensors and imaging systems from leading sensor system integrators. Customers can choose various user stations and mission specific equipment and can erase / reconfigure the sensor circuit according to their needs.
