Vickers Wave Specs, Interior, Cockpit, and Price – Vickers Wave is a amphibious light sport aircraft (LSA) designed and developed by Vickers Aircraft Company of Hamilton, New Zealand. The aircraft is designed to meet ASTM's international LSA standards, the aircraft only underwent flight testing 180 hours before being certified by the New Zealand Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). The aircraft was first introduced at the Sport Aviation Expo in Sebring, Florida in 2014. Since its introduction, Vickers Wave aircraft have received expressions of interest from several airlines in the US, Europe and Malaysia.

The Vickers Wave fuselage consists of an aluminum primary structure with carbon fiber hull that is resistant to corrosion. The entire fuselage, floating elements and fuselage skin of the aircraft are also made of carbon fiber supplied by Core Builders Composites. The aircraft can be operated from water and runways on land. The wings of the aircraft can be folded automatically and can be equipped with transportation trailers, and an electric davit hook recovery system for transportation on a cruise ship.

The Vickers Wave aircraft are equipped with Cross-Over fixed landing gear and an emergency aircraft recovery parachute system. The Vickers Wave cockpit is equipped with the Dynon SkyView SV-D1000 avionics device which integrates a high-resolution touch screen display. The screen has a high level of brightness and can be seen clearly even in direct sunlight. The SkyView avionics suite includes the COM-C25 CON radio, the SkyView 2S stereo intercom, the SV-XPNDR-261 transponder, and the S mode transponder.

The instrument panel also integrates standard equipment including flight control sticks, center consoles, iPad mini with electronic flight books, checklists, and backup electronic flight instrument systems (EFIS). Other avionics include SkyView automatic pilots and angle of attack (AOA) indicators.

The Vickers Wave cabin has a length of 1.4 m, width 1.34 m, and height 1.20. The cabin can accommodate two personnel consisting of a pilot and a passenger. It has luggage space with a storage volume of 25 ft³ (0.71 m³). The cabin interior incorporates a heater and climate control fan, and has a double sliding door for safe and uncovered entry or exit, a high-visibility front windshield, drinking area, and seats with armrests and inertia windings, 4-point seat belts with airbags .
