Evektor Harmony Specs, Interior, Cockpit, and Price – The Evektor Harmony is a two-seat light sport aircraft manufactured by Evektor-Aerotechnik, a company from the Czech Republic. This aircraft can be used for cross-country tour and training purposes. The aircraft obtained the USA FAA approval certificate in 2011 and the first aircraft were sent to the US that same year. The aircraft subsequently received a special airworthiness certificate from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation in Chile in May 2014.

The Evektor Harmony fuselage is made of all-metal, anodised and corrosion resistant. The aircraft structure joints are glued with mastic for long term service. This aircraft has a new tapered wing design, enlarged steering wheel, aerofil, and three-wheel landing gear. The aircraft is integrated with two internal wing tanks with a capacity of 60 l each. The dimensions of the aircraft include a length of 6.11 m, height of 2.48 m, and wing width of 9.25 m. The takeoff and landing distance of the aircraft is 190 m and 180 m, respectively. The aircraft has an empty weight of 311 kg, a maximum takeoff weight (MTOW) of 600 kg and a useful load capacity of up to 289 kg.

The Evektor Harmony aircraft is powered by a Rotax 912ULS engine which produces an output power of 100 hp. The propulsion propeller engine AES 1700/3 / R has three blades. The aircraft is also offered with two other engine options which include a 115 hp Rotax 914 turbo engine or a 100 hp Rotax 912iS / S2 engine with fuel injection system. The Rotax 914 turbo engine is intended for high altitude performance in mountainous or hot areas, while the Rotax 912ULS engine offers standard performance and weight reduction.

Evektor Harmony aircraft can fly with a cruise speed of 204 km / h, a maximum speed of 222 km / h and a stall speed of 83 km / h. The aircraft consumes fuel at an average of 15 l per hour and can fly up to a range of 1,300 km (700 nmi). The aircraft has a 15,500 ft service ceiling with an incline of 5.2 m / s.

The Evektor Harmony Cabin has a width of 1.18 m which can accommodate two personnel consisting of a pilot and a passenger. The cabin has a luggage room with a volume of 10.1 ft³ which can accommodate a maximum weight of 25 kg. The cabin is equipped with a ventilation system with NACA inlet and canopy side ball holes. It integrates a standard chair with a low backrest, and luxurious interior lined. It also features a padded seat belt shoulder strap, side map pockets, and armrests. It also includes an open and closed canopy warning system, and an additional 12 V outlet.

The spacious Evektor Harmony cockpit offers 46.5 in shoulder width and additional leg room. The cockpit is integrated with Dynon SkyView 10 in electronic flight instrument system (EFIS) and 7 in engine monitoring system (EMS), integrated Dynon radio plus transponders and night flight flight rules (VFR) equipment packages. The cockpit is equipped with a new design instrument panel, adjustable pedals, push-button circuit breakers, nose wheel steering, and a combination starter and choke lever. It is covered by a colored canopy which offers UV protection.

The Evektor Harmony avionics suite includes air speed indicators, altimeters, magnetic compasses, vertical speed indicators, bank indicators, dual hydraulic brakes with four pumps, dual control sticks, and mechanical flaps. The aircraft is also equipped with longitudinal, lateral, flap and nose wheel control via push / pull rods, and throttle control with friction locks.
