Dornier Seawings Seastar Specs, Cockpit, Interior, and Price – Dornier Seawings Seastar is a sophisticated amphibious aircraft being developed by Dornier Seawings, a joint venture of the Wuxi Industrial Development Group in China and the Dornier family in Germany. Airplane production began in February 2016 and was certified by EASA in April 2017, while aircraft shipments began in 2018. These aircraft can operate on land and at sea level. Seastar aircraft can be configured to support a variety of operations including VIP, commercial, government or corporate missions, cargo transportation, and ambulances.

The Seastar cockpit is integrated with the sophisticated Primus Epic 2.0 avionics suite supplied by Honeywell. The avionics suite includes advanced vision, communication, navigation, surveillance and air traffic management systems.
