Nextant 400XTi Specs, Interior, Cockpit, and Price

Nextant 400XTi Specs, Interior, Cockpit, and Price – Nextant 400XTi is a twin-engine lightweight business jet designed and produced by Nextant Aerospace, United States, to operate on domestic and international air routes. Nextant 400XTi is one of the fastest planes in space. This is an extended version of the Beechjet 400A business jet.

Nextant 400XTi made its inaugural flight from Cuyahoga County Airport in September 2010. The aircraft received US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approval in October 2011 and European certification was granted in December 2012. Nextant Aerospace launched 400XTi Business Jet at the European Business Flight Convention and Exhibition (EBACE) 11th year, held between 17 and 19 May 2011 in Geneva, Switzerland.

Nextant 400XTi Specs

Nextant Aerospace designed the 400XTi by making several modifications to the Beechjet 400A. Propulsion FJ44-3AP is used as a substitute for Pratt & Whitney machines from 400A. In addition new features are included, such as enhanced avionics, new engine nacelles, poles, engine covers, engine beams and mounting systems, along with horizontal stabilizers.

EMTEQ signed a contract with Nextant Aerospace in September 2010 to install ELW30 LED washing lights on the aircraft to produce bright and coherent lighting. With their typical LED lights they provide interior lighting solutions for the 400XTi Nextant modernization program.

ProLine 21 avionics suite for 400XTi supplied by Rockwell Collins. This kit reduces aircraft maintenance costs by up to 30% and weighs 75lb (34kg), while reducing the workload of the flight crew.

Nextant 400XTi is also equipped with the latest winglets that can improve performance by reducing obstacles. By using the same computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis, air flow over the rear plane and engine is also enhanced to add an impressive 400XTi range.

Nextant 400XTi Engine

Nextant 400XTi is powered by a twin-turbofan FJ44-3AP engine with a thrust of 1,383kg. The engine was designed and built by Williams International, USA. Machines that are compatible with FADEC produce a high drive to weight ratio and reduce fuel consumption while minimizing operational costs. The engine is also much quieter, allowing 400XTi to be certified for Category IV noise compliance regulations.

The FJ44-3AP turbofan engine has an engine fan length and diameter of 1.58 m and 0.58 m respectively. The dry weight is 239kg. The time between engine repairs is 4,000 hours. Jet 400XTi can fly with a maximum speed of 851 km / hour. Cruising speed of 809 km / h and range of 4,000 km.

Nextant 400XTi Cabin and Interior

Nextant 400XTi has a spacious cabin to accommodate eight passengers in two seating areas. The cabin is designed to provide passengers with access in flight to 53.2ft³ of the volume available in the luggage compartment.

The cabin has a cabin management system, an in-flight entertainment system, LED lighting and an Aircell Access 4000 data and sound communication system. This can be divided into two layouts, namely business and executive.

The business layout has seven chairs, a kitchen on the right and bonded toilet seats in the rear compartment. The cabin baggage volume is 26.8ft³ and the total luggage volume is 53.2ft³.

The executive layout consists of six chairs, a refreshing kitchen on the left, a trunk on the right and a bonded toilet seat in the rear compartment. Cabin baggage volume is 32ft³ and the total baggage volume is 58.4ft³.
