Two Airplane prototypes, along with aircraft that fit production, have been developed so far. The aircraft is currently undergoing a series of flight tests.
The Embraer Praetor 600 aircraft is expected to receive type certification from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the first half of 2019, while service entries are expected by the end of 2019.
The optimized monoplan aircraft design has a low wing configuration. The fuselage section that stretches backward to form a long tail structure. The stabilizing structure in the tail section is arranged in the T-tail configuration.
The Embraer Praetor 600 business jet has a length of 20.74 m, a height of 6.41 m and a wingspan of 21.5 m. Managed by two crew members, this aircraft has enough space to accommodate up to 12 passengers.
The Embraer Praetor 600 maximum take-off (MTOW) weight is 19,449 kg, which is much higher than the Legacy 500 aircraft. This aircraft offers additional fuel capacity with an additional fuel tank. Embraer Praetor 600's carrying capacity is 1,815kg.
